1080PRESS is a print shop and book publisher located in Kingston, New York.
1080PRESS prints and publishes poetry and essays. The production of our books and monthly newsletters focuses mainly around our two offset presses, however, we often experiment with different methods and mass print production tools. When they occur, we choose to leave the errors of our press work in our books as a way of celebrating the process of our labor and the making of the object.
1080PRESS authors are involved in the production of their books, from the editorial process to printing. We celebrate the collective capacity to make books through friendship, dialogue, and work, and our aim is to produce books, essays, and documents that are, “a picture or graph of a mind moving.”
1080PRESS does not accept unsolicited submissions. The books and newsletters we publish are by invite only. Please do not submit manuscripts unsolicited.
